2009 GRADUATION UPDATE   |   First Graduating Class -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It has been a long 3-year journey for our first graduating senior class, but they made it! We are so proud of them. They have overcome so many obstacles to be a part of this program. Of the 11 graduates that finished our program, 8 are planning to attend college in the fall, 2 will join the workforce and 1 has joined the Navy. Over the next few months we will be sharing with you each of their accomplishments and future plans. Thank you for partnering with us to see a generation of youth "Be More." The first student that I would like to highlight is Darrius Snow. When he started our program, he had a 2.8 GPA in high school. Since then, he had raised his GPA to a 3.5 and graduated in the top 20% of his class, he has also received the Science Fair's Golden Key Award, was President of B-Team, Youth leader for Brother2Brother, Battalion Leader ROTC, and will be the first one in his family to finish high school. He has been accepted to Voorhees College where he has received a $38,000 scholarship among other scholarships for tuition and expenses. Darrius has overcome many obstacles in his life, and we are proud of all his accomplishments. Darrius is an awesome student and an exceptional individual. We know that he will continue to succeed in all his efforts. We thank you again for partnering with us to create life-change in our youth.
